Cuisinart individual knives

Cuisinart also offers individual pieces if your needs don’t match any particular package or kit they offer.

The most popular individual knives are the Chef Knife, Santoku knife and Breadknife. These three pieces make up a well-rounded kitchen set for any cook or chef looking to add some Cuisinart flair into their cooking space, and there are several options for each.

Cuisinart chef knife

The Cuisinart chef knife is one of the most popular types of knives around. It is a great all-purpose knife that can be used for chopping, slicing and dicing. The blade on this particular Cuisinart chef’s knives measures in at an impressive eight inches long!

You’ll be familiar with these knives, since we just looked at some of their counterparts in sets.  These are all 8″ chef knives by Cuisinart.

You can’t go wrong with any of these!

Cuisinart Santoku knives

The Santoku Knife has quickly become one of the most popular types around, and it is one of my favorites.

Some of the reasons for its increasing popularity is that it does such amazing things with vegetables like carrots or potatoes – they’re perfect when you want to cut them into thin slices without having any jagged edges left over from using other blades (like serrated bread knifes).

This type also makes quick work out some tough meats too so if your looking something more than just “all purpose” then these are worth checking too.

The big thing with a Santoku knife by Cuisinart is the size of the blade.  They come in 5″ and 7″ sizes.  Keep in mind the size of the user when you pick your blade size, people with smaller hands will find the 5″ much easier to handle.

Cuisinart Bread knife options

Finally is the bread knife. Cuisinart bread knives have many uses. They can be used to slice through breads, pastries and even cakes. The blade is serrated so it will easily cut all the way down without any resistance at a 45 degree angle for clean slices every time.

This is a great list of bread knives to cut your favorite baked goods with.

Have more questions about Cuisinart knives? We have answers.

Are Cuisinart knives made in China?

Cuisinart is an American company and their knives are made in the USA.

Cuisinart has a lifetime warranty on their products, so if you ever need to replace your knife or get it sharpened then Cuisinart will take care of that for free.

Can you sharpen Cuisinart colored knives?

Cuisinart colored knives really are a fantastic addition to your kitchen, and they can be sharpened as long as you use care. You should never use a sharpener that is too fine or you will risk damaging the blade. The best way to sharpen your colored knife would be with an electric ceramic honing rod, which can also help keep them looking new and shiny for longer periods of time.

Can you wash Cuisinart knives in dishwasher?

I know I love my dishwasher. Many wonder if they should put their knives in them! When it comes to Cuisinart knives, while you can put them in the dishwasher, it will make them become duller and wear out faster.

You should never put a knife with a wooden handle in the dishwasher.
